The Excel College Fall Party

The temperature had dropped significantly over the days leading up to the Excel College Fall party. I can’t speak for everyone but personally, I always break out my hoodies and jackets prematurely in the early autumn and will sweat the days away anticipating the promise of cooler temperatures. Well, in the case of this year's Fall Party the warmer wear was finally both functional and fashionable as the sun set early and everyone’s breath became visible.
If you have ever been to an Excel College party, then you wouldn’t be shocked by the abundant spread of home-made finger foods and decadent snackables. This years fall party did not fail to fulfill the expectation. A table rivaled only by the lost boys famous never-land feast. In my opinion the best way to inaugurate a party like this is by hovering over the various dishes without ever fully committing to a plate of anything. Taking a little bit of this and a little of that and recommending things to fellow sojourners who you encounter along the way who are doing the same.
In keeping in the tradition of most fall parties that happen on or around October 31st, our student body also participated in a costume competition of which some notable entries were a gaggle of elderly impersonators and an entourage of devoted monks in girded loins and bald caps. My wife and I went as a humble basketball player and referee.
Definitely a party for the books! Super fun and of course cannot wait for the next one!
